Fred Minnick is not your typical food and wine journalist. After covering the Iraq war in 2004 and 2005, Mr. Minnick sought to cover the simple things in life. He gravitated toward food, wine and spirits—things we can all enjoy. Mr. Minnick’s work regularly appears in the top trade and consumer magazines.

Mr. Minnick is a member of the prestigious American Society of Journalists & Authors and the National Press Photographers Association.
